Cateva din titlurile cele mai interesante: "Espionage in EVE" - asta o sa fie interesant ..., "War on territory", "Brave new worlds" - cateva cuvinte despre PI (Planet Interaction) care apare odata cu noul expansion "Tyrannis" programat pentru lansare in Mai.

ESPIONAGE IN EVE

Like it or loathe it, spying in games has been around since dice were invented. It will likely be around until computers attain god-like sentience and do away with humans and their videogames altogether. But why do we sneak and snoop on each other in order to have fun, and why especially are such practises so endemic in EVE? Trapping three of New Eden's most renowned users of intelligence in an elaborate web of probing questions, we ask to what extent does espionage pervade our beloved universe and try to ascertain what acts of spiteful vengeance are committed. Finally, as they shriek for mercy under the heat of an Ikea desk lamp, we draw from our captive trio a few ideas about how spies and saboteurs might be kept locked out.
WAR ON TERRITORY

In part two of our look at Sovereignty, we turn from the distant past to the recent, looking at how Dominion has changed the way alliances look at and utilize their territory. In GoonSwarm's dramatic self-immolation, and CVA's overly ambitious urge to expand, two of New Eden's most robust alliances have withered in Dominion's shadow. Is EVE's most recent expansion to blame, or was it just another day in the universe we call New Eden? Between Nyphur's examination and our all-new-and-improved 0.0 Report, we try to find out.
BRAVE NEW WORLDS

Planetary Interaction is coming and with it will be a lot of stuff. We brave Singularity to look at how EVE's summer expansion is shaping up (round, mostly) and ask CCP Manifest and CCP Hammerhead to reveal what kind of stuff we can expect to see in Tyrannis and beyond.

CCP a anuntat astazi numele noului expansion EVE Online - Tyrannis. Acesta va contine o serie intreaga de modificari precum si noi elemente cum ar fi:

Desi nu au fost foarte specifici cu privire la multe aspecte din noul expansion (sau data lansarii acestuia), CCP a promis ca va reveni asupra fiecarui element nou in urmatoarele DEV Blogs. Yummy !

What's in the package?

For a long time we have had people asking us for more options to build up their own infrastructure. It's something that comes up frequently at Fanfest, in past CSMs and during casual conversations with players. There seems to be some deep Freudian desire to erect something monumental. To make stuff. To create something new. At last Fanfest we announced our plans to allow you, the pod-pilots of New Eden, to shift your foci away from the heavens for a moment, onto the planets. In Dominion, we gave the planets a facelift, updating the graphics with beautiful landscapes, awe inspiring deserts, peaceful Ewok-friendly green worlds and violent burning lava fields. But that was just eye candy, right? Well, not quite. In our upcoming expansion, Tyrannis, ALL THESE WORLDS ARE YOURS. [...]

PAST FORWARD

For the last couple of months all people have been talking about is sovereignty. Sov this. Sov that. Sov the other. Being such an important part of EVE that's understandable, which is why we've devoted much of this issue to this very emotive subject. From a detailed look back at how conquest mechanics have shaped New Eden, to our regular look at the ongoing wars out in 0.0, we go one further and ponder the future of EVE in 2010, starting with the fallout from the Dominion release all the way to what we might see in the expansions over the coming months.
THE REAL SISTERS

It's been rumoured that females play EVE. Not just pretend ones with female avatars who sound weird on TeamSpeak, but real ones who can do something called 'multitasking'. Mynxee is one such creature and she's made it her mission to seek out others of her species to find out what it is about EVE that appeals to them and what their experiences of EVE are like. Meanwhile, two of CCP's most testosterone-free Devs reveal themselves in the latest series of In Crowd articles.
STAR GUIDES

Even if we do say so ourselves, the role-playing guide in this issue is particularly excellent. Why? Because it cuts to the very essence of what role-playing is and prepares you for a deeper and more satisfying EVE experience, as do our other three guides; to EVEmon, Singularity and jump clones.

It seems you guys loved the Caldari Cruisers poster we gave away with issue #016, so we've decided to do another one! This time (while stocks last) subscribers will receive a massive 841mm x 594mm wall chart showing all the Amarr Cruiser hulls (Tech I, Tech II and Faction) and how they relate to one another, so that you can spot the cosmetic and functional differences between the common Augoror and the Navy Issue variant with a simple glance. 'Show Info' has become a thing of the past, thanks once again to paper technology!
